It all started when we were born, carnival is in our blood! With all of our founding members growing up in the Carnival Mecca of the world – Trinidad and Tobago, and having experience working in events and carnival, we were destined to create our own band!
How We Started
One of us had an idea, then called the others with this idea and we agreed we’d start a band together. We had a few brainstorming sessions in a boardroom in London’s West end and Euphoria Carnival was born. Our colleagues at the worlds biggest and best mas band, TRIBE gave us some guidance and designed our debut costumes. We started with a BANG!
How We’ve Grown
We debuted as a medium sized band featuring 3 costume sections, 5 years later our numbers are constantly growing and we are the largest masquerade band with 7 available costume variations. Our service levels have only gone up over the years, customer service being at the forefront of our minds, from costume purchase to the Carnival experience.
Awards We’ve Won
We’re number one! We didn’t say it but the Notting Hill Carnival Enterprises Trust Judges did in 2015. We were awarded 1st place for large bands in the modern contemporary category. Watch this space for more numero unos in the future!
Fun at the Launch
The awesome unveiling of our costumes built into one hell of a party!

History of Notting Hill Carnival
What is the Notting Hill Carnival?
The Notting Hill Carnival is the largest street festival in Europe which has taken place on the streets of W11 since 1966. lt is an amazing array of sounds, colourful sights and social solidarity.
When Does Carnival Take Place?
Every August over two days (the August bank holiday Monday and the preceding Sunday). Despite its name, it is not part of the global Carnival season preceding Lent.
How Has Carnival Changed Over the Years?
Carnival has always been colour: flashy, creative costumes, people celebrating in the streets to loud music and having a ball. The things we’ve seen change the costumes got glitzier, the music got louder, the mobile service got better (inclusive of food drink, facilities and security). The essence of Carnival will never change, we love it!
Who Goes & Who Takes Part?
Most of the circa 1 million people that come, are there to watch the parade. The lucky ones are the people in the costumes, in the street behind the floats, partying and having a ball. Life is not a spectator sport, get involved now!
